Premier League 25/26
Global Promo Graphic Pack
From a blank page to (most probably) the most-watched graphic pack in global sport.
Promo graphics kit used across every match of the Premier League 25/26 season – over 2,000 assets seen worldwide, every week.
The official promo graphic kit for the 2025/26 Premier League season — a comprehensive toolkit used to create promos for every single game across the entire season. Over 2,000 assets were designed and delivered in just 9 weeks, from concept through to execution — starting with a blank page and ending with (probably) the most-watched graphic pack in global sport.
The pack needed to have its own strong identity, be bold, cohesive, and highly functional — used by assistant producers and editors of all abilities, often under pressure and tight deadlines. A key challenge was ensuring the system was not only visually striking but modular and user-friendly, allowing for consistent branding while offering flexibility across hundreds of unique matchups.
This project pushed my skills in design systems thinking, motion language development, and large-scale production workflow — all under an intense time frame. Every element had to belong to the same visual family, while remaining dynamic enough to support thousands of variations.
Tools:
Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro
With the requirement to deliver 15- and 30-second promos in both 16:9 and 9:16 formats for each game, the graphics package needed versions with alternate durations to suit different promo lengths. For example, we created both 3-second and 1.5-second versions of the single club graphic to provide more flexibility in shot timing. The shorter graphics can be used in the 15-second promos to allow for extended shot durations.
The graphics package had to include elements in three kit colorways—home, away, and third—across all assets, along with editable endboards and text designs. These needed to be functional MOGRTs, while staying consistent with the overall motion style of the pack.
MOTION PRINCIPLES
6 horizontal time offset compositions, hold sliding and scaling components, with a speed curvature of 33% closing off at 75%.
The transition on and off isnt just a linear wipe, it is custom made inside the 6 step offset motion principle, offering a subtle continuation of the principles.
